Relieve Health Group offers a broad range of specialised podiatry, podiatric surgical and pain management clinical services. We also offer patient and practitioner education to ensure world-class education is readily accessible to all Australians.
While our services are primarily focused on the allied health discipline of Podiatry, we use other specialised interventions including PBMT laser therapy, injection therapies as well as minor and major surgical options.
We only use the most current, evidence-based practices to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Podiatric surgeons are specialised podiatrists who have undertaken further surgical qualifications. After completing a standard tertiary qualification in podiatry, they undertake several years of post-graduate formal surgical training. This training is under the instruction of senior podiatric surgeons as well as medical doctors including those specialised in orthopaedics, vascular, general medicine and other medical specialties. Following the successful completion of this training, the title of podiatric surgeon, a recognised specialist registration category under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA), is awarded.
All podiatric surgeons are members of a surgical college (Australasian College of Podiatric Surgery) and undertake continuing professional development activities of a standard expected of all healthcare professionals. Their training and governance is accredited and provided under AHPRA as per all registered health and medical professionals.
